July 27, Surkhet. Midwestern University has postponed the examinations of various faculties which were supposed to be conducted from Tuesday. The examination has been postponed after the United Students’ Organization (USO) staged agitation demanding various things.
Announcing the notice on Monday morning, the examination management office said that the examination would be held as per the pre-published schedule. The university had stated that the undergraduate level examination of the Faculty of Science and Technology would be conducted in physical attendance from today (Sharwan 29) and the postgraduate level examination from today. The students, on the other hand, continued their agitation demanding online examinations. The university has stated that the examination has been postponed citing the student movement as the reason.
‘Undergraduate level examinations for science and technology will be conducted from Sharwan 12 and postgraduate examinations will be conducted from Sharwan 13. The pre-scheduled examination programs of other faculties have been postponed for a week, ‘said Dr. Krishna Kumar, head of examination management. It is stated in the information issued by Ananda Prasad Subedi.
